Here's one for all those parents who were busy making babies back in the spring - a gift pack for new borns filled with organic pressies. This particular Baby Bean one consists of a sunflower stripe babygro, hat and comfort blanket - all made from wool or organic cotton, naturally - plus massage oil and a bar of aromatherapy soap (oddly, neither are organic). Sounds like the perfect Hippyshopper start in life to me, along with organic PJs, cool recycled cool stationery and solar science kits. You can get your organic baby bonanza for a few pennies short of £30 from Tiny Sprout.

I've been thinking alot about organic fabrics, especially the ecological comparison between growing/using hemp, which requires less water, and *organic* cotton, which, while being grown in a more soil-friendly manner, still uses LOTS of water. Any thoughts on this issue, we're trying to make this sort of call for products in our sustainable store at www.eco-logic.com.
