Monmouth's ethical coffees

MonmouthcoffeeIf you read the Observer's 'is coffee bad for us'? story at the weekend, chances are you still have no idea whether that daily latte's good for you. The article did, however, leave me knowing one thing for certain: that I'm going to visit Covent Garden's Mounmouth Coffees, a purveyor of several ethically-produced beans from South America and beyond. None of the estates have Fairtrade badges, so you'll have to take Monmouth's word that, for example, the Colombian co-op on the right 'invest[s] in continuous improvement of its coffee plantations and in education for its children.' Have a look at Monmouth's website - you can mail-order via telephone, fax or email.
