I deserve to be hung, drawn and quartered for the short notice, but... today and tomorrow Europe's biggest organic food and drink festival is taking place in Bristol. The Organic Food Festival is free and you can sample provisions from 200 suppliers including organic foodie favourites such as Clipper, Green & Blacks and Manor Farm alongside smaller specialists producing sourdough bread, single estate extra virgin olive oil and clotted cream fudge. It's enough to make me salivate and head off to Fresh & Wild. Which, incidentally, is behind the show's fringe festival and the Viennese Vegetable Orchestra's performance today (it's their pepper-courgette-flute in the pic). Sounds awful? Yep, but just ignore the marrow-playing musicians and enjoy the food. And the fact that by going you're almost guaranteed to persuade other farmers to go organic and ditch the chemicals.
