The charitable Pricerunner

Shop_trolleyIf you've ever shopped on the web, chances are you've used Pricerunner, Kelkoo or Froogle to do a price comparison. Now imagine that for everything you ever bought via those price comparison sites, a few pence were given to charity. Well, that's exactly what Rectifi does, and those pennies add up - Rectifi punters raised nearly £3500 in the last three months of 2004. How's it work? Most of the search results are sponsored, so everytime you click on one - say, a link to the Apple Store or eBay - Rectifi gets some clickthrough cash. Rectifi then gives all its profits to a different charity each quarter of the year - recent ones have included The Climate Group, World Development Movement and Greenpeace; the current one's Tourism Concern. In short, it's simple, brilliant, green and ethical. Take a look for yourself - Rectifi currently covers over a million products, so there's probably something up your street.
