Spudulike isn't a likely candidate for a green hero. The cheap baked potato takeaway outfit doesn't grow its own veg, pledge to use organic ingredients or even avoid GM food. What it does do is donate a portion of its profits to Future Forests to plant trees on its behalf, thus allowing the company to declare itself 'carbon neutral' (there's an interesting list here of other companies with Future Forest partnerships). Spudulike's got branches in 30 towns across the UK, and it certainly beats McDonalds. Besides, I love a jacket with melted cheese.
